This is a big day of about 180 miles which is quite long for Kathi. We start from our hotel in Eureka, have breakfast at Kristina's, and then head out towards Ferndale. In Ferndale, we get on Mattole Road and ride this awesome, but poor condition asphalt road to The Lost Coast. Then south along the coast to Petrolia, Honeydew, and then into Humboldt Redwoods State Park. Through the park and onto the Avenue of the Giants. South to Miranda for gas and some food, then back north on the Avenue and back into the Park proper for a hike at Big Trees. Then back out, north on the Avenue to Pepperwood, and then north on 101 back to the hotel in Eureka.

Today is a 6 hour long slog down 101 to Palo Alto with a stop for gas and In-N-Out in Santa Rosa, across the Golden Gate Bridge, an accidental trip across the city because we missed the turn onto 280, then an hour or so with Deborah before we left to join Celia's party with: Celia, Craig, Larry, Janice, Ross, Rob, Julie, and Jeffery. Sorry no pics. Too busy catching up with everyone!
