2024 Kathi in Napoli, Sun April 28, 2024

Today Kathi and Chris part ways. Kathi flies from ZHR (Zurich) to NAP (Napoli) and meets up with her Italian teacher/host. Her flight from ZUR was delayed 2 hours from when we purchased it. She now departs at 5:15pm. Not sure what our schedule will be dropping her off at Zug Bahnhofplatz or taking her all the way to the airport.

Hi Kathi. No problem, the time is perfect. When your flight will land in Naples, from the airport take the Alibus until first stop in Garibaldi square (where is train station). From Garibaldi square, search on Google "antica pizzeria da Michele" (is the most famous and best pizzeria in Naples 🙂)...it's around 10 minutes by walking, and Michele is just in the middle between NaClips school and the apartment. So I can show where are both of them..is it ok for you?

Starting my Napoli experience

I thought I took pictures from the bus location and down the road to this central area near the train station, but I guess I was too busy looking at my map. It seemed pretty sketchy at 9pm at night. There was a lot of garbage pilled up and spilling over. Many young men were wandering around. Fortunately, the sidewalk turned into street restaurants with people and light as I approached the central circle.

I once accidentally pushed the pause button at night to turn it off, and it locked and wouldn't unlock. I thought I chose some settings for a quick run, but it was longer than the original settings. I wasn't sure about pulling the plug from the wall and if that would make things worse.
