This day started beautifully, but then we encountered heavy rain and high winds and cold. So we didn't get many pictures after the beginning. Just a few km from the end, Chris crashed the scooter in heavy rain and high winds on a ridge covered with windmills. Scooters don't have a lot of weight on the front and the big windshield combined with the gusting winds and poor visibility led to Chris touching the brakes in a turn and losing the front end. We speculate that a strong gust of wind may have thrown the bike sideways so ABS didn't help. Anyway, the bike got some light scratches on the lower edge and Chris got some bruises on the side of his right leg to add to his torn calf muscle.
On the bright side, we had a really excellent meal when we asked the chef to choose for us. He went all out finding a half dozen ways to prepare Italian Cod called Baccàla.

We asked the waiter to choose for us. He and the chef and the owner conferred for a bit and then various variations of Baccàla with roasted peppers started coming. It was fantastic! With a little wine, it was €80 for the two of us. Great meal.
